Meet Kadin Rainville
Kamloops is home. Born and raised here, I have built my life, family, and career in this community. I am running for Kamloops City Council in 2026 to deliver practical leadership, restore accountability, and put local residents first.
Deep roots and real-world experience
After graduating from Kamloops Christian School, I worked across local industries before developing a successful career as a Realtor. Working closely with families has given me direct insight into housing affordability, land-use planning, and responsible growth. Alongside my wife, who serves our community as a specialist physician at Royal Inland Hospital, our daily lives are closely connected to the opportunities and challenges facing Kamloops.
Committed To Community
As a volunteer firefighter, I have served in emergency situations and have gained valuable experience in crisis management, public safety, teamwork, leadership, and community service. As President of the Association of Interior Realtors, I have worked with diverse stakeholders, navigated complex issues, built consensus, and made responsible decisions on behalf of a large membership. Couple this with my wife being a specialist physician in Kamloops at RIH, my life is already centered around the major issues surrounding our community.
Proven governance and trusted leadership
As President of the Association of Interior Realtors and backed by extensive formal governance training, I have collaborated with diverse stakeholders, built consensus on critical issues, and led responsible fiscal and strategic decisions. I am prepared to bring that same transparency, collaboration, and accountability to City Hall.
